KINGIAN NON-VIOLENCE TRAINING

  • Santa Fe Art Institute 1600 Saint Michaels Drive Santa Fe, NM, 87505 United States (map)

Filled with bold strategies, A powerful Kingian Nonviolence training is being offered Friday and Saturday, October 27th and 28th.

Kingian Nonviolence is not a tactic! Understanding King’s approach helps intersectional causes become more creative, strategic, and successful.  Far more nuanced and strategic than other nonviolence and tactic-oriented trainings, Kingian Nonviolence curriculum is derived from the lifework and tremendous successes of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.   Hear the stories from a first-hand civil rights source -and the strategies that are rarely discussed in public settings, -stories from BirminghamMontgomeryWounded Knee, and South Africa.

The training is sponsored by the SCLC of NM (the national SCLC was originally founded by Dr. King in 1957) and will be held at the Santa Fe Art Institute (on the campus of the Santa Fe University of Art and Design).
